What Is It?
Temple filler places hyaluronic acid based product into the hollowed area between the outer corner of the eye and the hairline. This region is the frame of the face: when it is full the face reads as oval; when it hollows the upper face narrows, the cheekbone looks more prominent than it is and the eye area sharpens.
The temple is one of those areas patients rarely notice themselves yet which affects the result most. People look at their cheeks and under-eyes in the mirror, while the reason the face reads as tired is often higher up, in volume lost at the temple. How Is It Done?
Treatment begins with facial analysis. The depth of the hollowing, skin thickness and how visible the underlying vessels are are assessed, and the difference between the two sides is measured. The temple requires care in vascular and neural terms, so treatment is generally carried out with a cannula through a limited number of points considered safe. Product is placed deep, close to bone.
