What Is It?
Nose filler uses a hyaluronic acid based product to soften irregularities along the bridge and balance the profile line. It is often called a “non-surgical nose job”, but what it actually does is different: it does not make the nose smaller, it corrects the line by adding volume.
That sounds contradictory at first — how does adding volume produce a straighter profile? The answer lies in shadow: what reads as a hump often comes not from a prominence on the bridge but from the hollows above and below it. When those hollows are supported, the line flattens and the profile looks more balanced.
How Is It Done?
Treatment begins with profile analysis. The line of the bridge, the angle of the tip, the nasolabial angle and the overall proportions of the face are assessed together, with photographs from the side and the front. Whether your expectation can be met with filler becomes clear at this stage — if the goal is a smaller nose, breathing problems or a marked deviation, it is stated openly that this is a surgical subject.
The nose is an anatomically delicate area in vascular terms, so treatment is carried out in small amounts, under control and usually with a cannula. Topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand. First 48 hours
Mild swelling and tenderness occur and bruising is possible. Glasses should not be worn, pressure on the area avoided and sleeping face down avoided; heat and intense exercise are not advised.
First 2 weeks
Swelling resolves and the product settles. The nose is a thin-skinned area, so the appearance in the first days is not final; assessment is deferred until then.
Review
A review is carried out at the end of the second week. Profile and symmetry are assessed by photographic comparison and a very small top-up is planned if needed.
Results & Duration
The change in the line is visible during the procedure, but the final appearance becomes clear once swelling resolves, on average within two weeks.
Duration varies with the product, the amount used and individual metabolism; the range generally reported for this area is 12-18 months. Because the nose is a static area, product breaks down more slowly than in most regions and lasts longer in some people. Renewal can be planned as the effect fades.
