What Is It?
HarmonyCa combines two different substances in a single product: hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. Their jobs and their timing differ — hyaluronic acid provides volume and support the moment it is placed, while calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates the skin’s own collagen production over the following weeks.
This structure means the result arrives in two stages. The first is the support effect visible on the day of treatment; the second is the collagen response that comes into play as the hyaluronic acid gradually dissolves. That is why the treatment is described as hybrid.
How Is It Done?
Treatment begins with facial analysis. Where the support points should sit, which region of the face has lost volume and how thick the skin is are all assessed. HarmonyCa is not a suitable product for thin, superficial areas; it is planned for the deep, supraperiosteal support layer — so the choice of points is more restricted than with other products.
Application is with a cannula or a needle into the planned deep layer, after topical anaesthetic cream. The procedure averages 30 minutes. Massage of the area may be requested afterwards — this step matters for the product to distribute evenly in the tissue and the instructions must be followed exactly. A single session is usually planned.
Who Is It For?
Suitable for people with volume loss in the mid and lower face, with some slackening of the skin, who want both support and a tissue response. It is usually chosen for people over 35 with adequate skin thickness.
It is not used in very thin-skinned areas (the under-eye, the lips) or for superficial placement. Where skin laxity is advanced, surgical options are discussed. It is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection at the site, or in bleeding disorders, uncontrolled autoimmune disease, a history of keloid or excessive scarring, and known allergy to the product’s components.
Process & Recovery
Facial analysis
Support points, the region of volume loss and skin thickness are assessed. The point map is drawn bearing in mind that the product targets the deep layer. Photographs are taken.
Treatment day
After topical anaesthetic cream the product is placed in the planned deep layer; it averages 30 minutes. At the end the massage routine for distributing the product is demonstrated.
First 48 hours
Swelling, tenderness and bruising may occur. The massage instructions must be followed exactly — even distribution of the product in the tissue depends on it. Heat and intense exercise are not advised.
Weeks 2-4
Swelling resolves and the support provided by the hyaluronic acid becomes clearly visible. Assessment is made at this stage.
Months 2-3
The collagen response comes into play in this period. Whether tissue support continues as the hyaluronic acid dissolves depends on this stage; a second assessment is made here.
Results & Duration
A two-stage result is expected: the support effect seen on the day of treatment and the collagen response that comes into play over 2-3 months. The final appearance becomes clear once swelling resolves, on average within 2-4 weeks.

What Is Not Promised
HarmonyCa is not a face lift; it does not gather excess skin where laxity is advanced. It is not used in thin, superficial areas such as the under-eye and the lips and offers no solution for problems there. It has no effect on pigmentation or surface skin quality.
One important difference: the hyaluronic acid component can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, but there is no such route back for the calcium hydroxyapatite component. Product choice and quantity are therefore planned more cautiously than with fully reversible products, and this is discussed openly at consultation.
