What Is It?
Double chin dissolving is a non-surgical, injection-based treatment targeting localised fat under the chin. The lipolytic solution disrupts the integrity of the fat cell membrane; the released fat is cleared over the following weeks through the body’s own elimination pathways.

How Is It Done?

The treatment area is marked and the solution is injected into the subcutaneous fat layer through evenly spaced points. Topical anaesthetic cream may be used beforehand. A session averages 15-20 minutes. Sessions are usually planned 3-4 weeks apart, with 2-4 sessions in total; the number is reassessed according to the response.
Who Is It For?
Suitable for people with limited, clearly palpable fat under the chin, preserved skin elasticity, and no wish for surgery. It is not a weight-loss method; it gives clearer results in people whose localised fullness persists independently of overall weight.
It will not meet expectations where skin laxity is marked or where the fullness comes mainly from a retruded chin. It is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection or an open wound at the site, or in bleeding disorders, uncontrolled thyroid disease and in people who report difficulty swallowing. Process & Recovery
Examination
Fat thickness, skin elasticity and the neck-chin angle are assessed and a profile photograph is taken. Session count and intervals are planned on that basis.
Session day
The area is cleansed and marked; topical anaesthetic cream is applied if needed. Injections are given through evenly spaced points and the session averages 15-20 minutes.
First 3-5 days
Swelling, tenderness, a stinging sensation and firmness occur in the area — these are the expected response. Swelling is most marked in the first 48 hours and settles over a few days. Bruising is possible.
Weeks 2-4
Clearance of the broken-down fat continues, firmness resolves and the area softens. Slimming starts to become noticeable during this period.
Interval and assessment
The next session is planned 3-4 weeks later. The overall result is assessed by photographic comparison about a month after the planned sessions are complete.
