Exotherapy
What Is It?
Exotherapy is not a single product but a combined protocol of four sessions: two of mesotherapy and two of ginseng exosome. It was designed by Dr. Sinan Akyürek for pigmentation, scarring and general skin renewal.
The two components do different jobs. Mesotherapy carries building blocks into the skin with a mixture of vitamins, minerals and amino acids — it supplies raw material for the tissue. Ginseng exosome works at the level of signalling, with plant-sourced vesicles. The logic of the protocol is to give these in sequence: first the material the tissue needs, then the signal intended to direct how it is used.
How Is It Done?
At examination the skin is assessed: the type of pigmentation, the depth of any scarring and the general condition of the tissue are examined. Where pigmentation is driven by pigment itself, it is discussed at the outset that this protocol may not be sufficient on its own and that different approaches may be needed.
The sessions are carried out in sequence. In the mesotherapy sessions the mixture is delivered into the middle layer of the skin with fine needles through evenly spaced points. In the exosome sessions the ginseng-sourced product is applied to the superficial layer; the dose is set individually. Each session averages 30 minutes, with topical anaesthetic cream beforehand. Four sessions in total, with intervals planned according to how the skin responds.
Who Is It For?
Considered for people who have pigmentation, scarring and tissue fatigue together and who want a planned series rather than a single treatment. Because the components do different jobs, this protocol stands out for skin with more than one complaint.
It may not be sufficient on its own for deep, pitted scars; planning alongside other treatments may be needed. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection, eczema or an open wound at the site, bleeding disorders, uncontrolled autoimmune disease and known allergy to the contents all change the planning. Because the exosome component is plant-sourced, allergy to plant-derived ingredients is asked about specifically.
Process & Recovery
Examination and protocol plan
The type of pigmentation, the state of any scarring and skin texture are assessed; the order and intervals of the four sessions are planned. Allergy to plant-derived ingredients is asked about. Photographs are taken.
Mesotherapy sessions
The mixture is delivered into the middle layer of the skin with fine needles through evenly spaced points. The aim is to supply raw material for the tissue; each session averages 30 minutes.
Exosome sessions
The ginseng-sourced product is applied to the superficial layer, with the dose set individually. The order is not arbitrary: the signalling stage follows once the material has been supplied.
Shared rules after each session
Redness and small bumps follow each session and settle within a few hours. Make-up, swimming pools and saunas are not advised the same day; sun protection is used without interruption throughout the protocol.
End of protocol
About a month after the four sessions are complete the result is assessed by photographic comparison. Whether maintenance is needed is discussed there.
Results & Duration
The effect appears not after a single session but accumulates across the four-session protocol. The first difference in the skin is usually in radiance and tone; change in the appearance of pigmentation and scarring is slower and requires completing the protocol.
The range generally reported is 12-16 months. Response varies with the type of pigmentation, the starting condition of the skin and whether sun protection is maintained — without protection, any lightening achieved returns.
What Is Not Promised
Exotherapy does not erase pigmentation completely; the aim is to reduce its appearance. It may not be sufficient on its own for deep, pitted scars. It is not a filler: it does not add volume and does not gather lax skin.
No particular percentage of lightening, session count or duration is guaranteed. If the protocol is left unfinished the expected result will not be obtained, because the components are sequenced to complement one another. It is no substitute for sun protection.
Key Benefits
- Blemish treatment
- Tissue repair
- Dual effect protocol
“My reason for building this protocol is simple: mesotherapy supplies the material, and the exosome carries the signal for how that material is used. On their own, each was leaving something out.”
— Dr. Sinan Akyürek
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Exotherapy a single product?
No. It is a combined protocol of four sessions: two of mesotherapy and two of ginseng exosome.
Which source is the exosome in it?
Ginseng exosome is used, so it is plant-sourced. For that reason allergy to plant-derived ingredients is asked about specifically.
Why mesotherapy and exosome together?
They do different jobs: mesotherapy supplies raw material for the tissue, the exosome works at the level of signalling. The sequence is built as material first, signal second.
Will my pigmentation disappear completely?
The aim is to reduce its appearance, not erase it. Different approaches may be needed depending on the type of pigment, and that is discussed at examination.
How many sessions and over what period?
Four sessions in total; intervals are planned according to how the skin responds. Each session averages 30 minutes.
When will I see the result?
The first difference is in radiance and tone. Change in pigmentation and scarring requires completing the protocol and then waiting about a month.
How long does it last?
The range generally reported is 12-16 months. Without maintained sun protection, any lightening achieved returns.
Which situations need separate assessment?
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection, eczema or an open wound at the site, bleeding disorders, uncontrolled autoimmune disease and allergy to the contents all change the planning; these are discussed at examination.
